Digital design license terms

Draft for review — version draft-2026-10-14. These terms are not yet final and have not been certified by a lawyer.

1. What you receive

Each design comes with the same files under both licenses: an STL file, a 3MF project file, and a printing guide. The license you choose decides what you may do with the objects you print, not which files you get.

2. Personal Use license

A one-time, perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to print the design for personal, non-commercial use, including gifts given free of charge. You may not sell, rent, or otherwise commercialize physical prints.

3. Commercial Use license

A one-time, perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to print the design and sell an unlimited number of physical prints that you produce. Its total price is shown for each design at checkout.

4. Upgrades

If you hold an active Personal Use license, you may upgrade the same design to Commercial Use by paying the current Commercial Use price minus the amount you actually paid for your Personal Use license. Your Personal Use license is then replaced by the Commercial Use license.

5. What neither license allows

You may not share, sell, give away, upload, or otherwise distribute the digital files, whether original or modified, including as part of other files or bundles. You may not claim the design as your own or remove attribution.

6. Ownership

SoSoul 3D Studio retains all copyright and other rights in the design and the files. You buy a license, not ownership of the design.

7. Refunds and revocation

If a payment is refunded or reversed, the license bought with it ends and download access is removed. If a refunded Personal Use license was credited toward an upgrade, the upgrade ends too.

8. Downloads

Files are available from your account library while your license is active. Download links are personal and expire after a few minutes.
